We are seeking a skilled and motivated Team Lead to join our dynamic team of Patent Analysts. As a Team Lead, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating the activities of our Patent Analysts to ensure the efficient and accurate analysis of patents and intellectual property. This role requires a deep understanding of patent research, strong leadership skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast paced environment.
Roles and responsibilities:
1. Team Management: Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of Patent Analysts to achieve individual and team goals.
2. Patent Analysis: Conduct in-depth patent research, including prior art searches, patentability assessments, litigation searches, SEP searches, and freedom-to-operate analyses.
3. Quality Assurance: Review and assess the work of team members to ensure the accuracy and completeness of patent analysis reports.
4. Project Coordination: Plan and coordinate project timelines, priorities, and resources to meet client requirements.
5. Client Communication: Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, provide updates on project progress, and offer expert insights into patent analysis.
6. Training and Development: Provide training and development opportunities to team members, ensuring they stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
7. Process Improvement: Continuously identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of patent analysis.
8. Reporting: Prepare and deliver regular reports on team performance, project status, and key performance indicators.
Job requirements:
- Bachelor’s/ Master’s degree in engineering.
- Proven experience in patent analysis and research.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Proficiency in patent databases and analysis tools (e.g., Orbit, PatSeer, Derwent, etc.).
- Familiarity with intellectual property laws and regulations.
